About

ABOUT

Putnam Digital Learning Academy serves students from Putnam County Charter School System's primary, elementary, middle, and high schools in a 100% online environment via SeeSaw and itsLearning learning management systems and a team of dedicated staff members from all levels and content areas. Parents may self-select their students to matriculate at least one nine-week period (primary and elementary) or one semester (high school). Students remain apart of their host school and are able to participate in all extracurricular and athletic programs offered at their respective school.

LEARNING COACH

Students enrolled in Putnam Digital Learning Academy are required to have a learning coach who supports their matriculation. The learning coach should be a responsible adult, if the parent is not available, who will ensure that students remain on track with their coursework and communicates with PDLA staff. LEARNING MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

A learning management system (LMS) creates a digital learning experience, aiding teachers in teaching and students in learning.  For educators, an LMS is infinitely personalized, so work generated by the educator can be tailored to the needs of every student. For students, the learning experience is more complete, more intimate, and more meaningful. For parents, and LMS gives immediate, timely results and improved communication.
Students in grade K through 2 will access their coursework and communicate with their teachers via
SeeSaw.
Students in grades 3 through 12 will access coursework and communicate with their teachers via the learning management system
itsLearning
